Travelers Marketing coordinates a Multi-City Free Toll Promotion to Spread the Word about TNT’s New Drama RAISING THE BAR

Free Tolls during peak periods over Labor Day Weekend in Orlando, Philadelphia, Chicago and Atlanta Traffic flowed more smoothly over the Labor Day weekend, when TNT paid for tolls in four major markets and informed drivers to watch the network’s debut primetime drama, RAISING THE BAR. On Friday the 29th, drivers on Atlanta’s GA-400 received free tolls from 4-6 pm. On Labor Day, motorists in three other cities were treated to free toll passage during a two-hour peak period to help launch the series’ Labor Day premiere. Families heading home after the holiday weekend were delighted to travel toll-free at the Orlando-Orange County Exp. – SR-528 Mainline Plaza Westbound plaza in Orlando; Pennsylvania Turnpike – Mid-County Interchange in Philadelphia and Chicago’s Indiana Toll Road – WestPoint Interchange at Milepost 1. “With so many people on the roads Labor Day weekend, it’s a perfect time to get our message out about the premiere of this outstanding new drama series,” said Tricia Melton, senior vice president of marketing for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “We are literally RAISING THE BAR by paying tolls on Labor Day weekend.” RAISING THE BAR is executive-produced by Steven Bochco (NYPD Blue, Hill Street Blues, LA Law) and stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar (NYPD Blue), Gloria Reuben (ER) and Jane Kaczmarek (Malcolm in the Middle). The drama series follows the lives and cases of young lawyers who work on opposite sides – the public defender’s office and the district attorney’s office – as well as those who sit in judgment on their cases.
